What kind of wedding album do you get when an A-list female deejay and a German rock star decide to tie the knot in a historic New Orleans courthouse and ride the ferry to their venue? One of the best I’ve ever done, that’s what kind! Kristen is half of New Orleans’ top hipster deejay team known as Mod Dance Party. Roman is leader of Frankfurt’s swingin’ Sixties rock combo, Redondo Beat. They both are walking poster kids for a style of fashion and music that screams: MOD! Both wore outfits handed down from their grandparents. None of this was scripted or produced, though they both have the good looks, figures, and Ray Bans of fashion models. I had total freedom to shoot anything I wanted. I fixed up my buddy, Mike Dominici, with a lo-rez distortion lens on a high tech Canon body for collateral coverage and he did not disappoint me.
